The pantomime of your dreams went to The Gardyne Theatre Dundee Christmas 2017.
River City favourite Tom Urie (“Big Bob”) was joined by two of the cast from top BBC comedy “Scot Squad”.
Long suffering “Officer Karen” played wicked queen Maleficent and her on-screen nemesis played Maleficent’s halfwit son, “Boaby”.
This fabulous show, with amazing sets, was the biggest pantomime ever staged in the city, bursting with serious celebs, lots of laughs, hopping hits and crazy costumes.
Dundee’s only professional pantomime, The Gardyne Panto was THE family event for Christmas 2017!
I’m delighted to be working with Karen and Darren this Christmas. I love Dundee, and can’t wait to get the party started. It’s going to be an amazing show full of songs and laughs and I’m delighted to have been asked to make a return to the live stage, after what has been the most transformative year of my life.
I’m thrilled to bits to be performing panto in Dundee. I can’t wait to share a stage with Tom and Darren as I’m sure we’re going to have an absolute ball together. I am very excited about performing in such a beautiful venue in what promises to be a quite extraordinary show.
I am so delighted to be working with my friends Tom Urie and my pal, onscreen and off, “Officer” Karen Bartke. We have already started planning some wonderful surprises for the audience.
