Ross O’Connor: Musical Director
Ross O’Connor (BMus, PMTC) has been working professionally as a musical director and composer for the past 20 Years. He completed his BMus at the College of Music, specialising in classical guitar
and composition.
This year had the privilege of scoring the film From Paradise, With Love and composing all new music for the Wonder Lights experience in Malahide Castle, Marley Park and Foto Island. He also had the pleasure of writing new music and songs for Jingle Fest at Emerald Park and The Guinness
Storehouse.
As composer and lyricist, his original musical New Fish had its premiere in Smock Alley, Dublin in 2019 and is looking forward to bringing it back in the near future.
He and his wife Elaine Hearty founded their company Singable through which they’ve produced and composed musical songs for RTE, Folens Educational Company, and The St Patrick’s Day festival.
He has been the musical director for Anthem Productions for the past 22 years, and currently works for Robert C Kelly as Musical Director in the UK and Ireland. This year he worked with GFour Productions to adapt Menopause The Musical 2 for American and Canadian audiences, as both arranger and writer.
Most recently for Robert C Kelly, Ross was Musical Director for Menopause The Musical and the brand new show Friends! The Musical Parody.
As a orchestrator and arranger Ross has had the pleasure of working with the likes of the RTE Concert Orchestra, David Foster and Rod Stewart, and has had his compositions used on RTE and BBC. As well as this, he has been involved in scoring numerous award winning films.
Ross is delighted to be part of the production team of Menopause The Musical 2: Cruising Through Menopause.
Belinda Murphy: Director / Choreographer
In her career as a dancer, Belinda has appeared in many musicals and cabarets both at home in Ireland and the USA. She has choreographed for several big productions including Jury’s Irish Cabaret (touring the USA twice), Sleeping Beauty (Point Depot, Dublin), and Messiah XXI starring Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Roger Daltrey, Aiden Quinn and Jeffrey Osborne.
No stranger to pantomime, Belinda performed in the Gaiety Theatre Dublin, choreographed and appeared in the Olympia Theatre Dublin, and more recently choreographed the Limerick University Concert Hall pantomime for Robert C Kelly. Some of her musical credits include La Cage Aux Folles, High Society, Cabaret, The Wiremen, and Westside Story.
Belinda worked as assistant choreographer and dancer in the original Riverdance, at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, and subsequently at the Royal Command Performance in the London Palladium.
Her choreography can be seen in big and small screen productions including The Tudors, Camelot, Love Hate, Leap Year, and Titanic – Blood and Steel. Film credits include: Albert Nobbs, Love Rosie, Secret Scripture, Sing Street, and hit television series Vikings.
Belinda has been responsible for staging all of Celtic Thunder’s touring shows since their PBS special in 2007. She directed and choreographed their second show at Radio City Music Hall in New York and has overseen numerous tours over the past decade. Most recently, she directed their new DVD, Celtic Thunder X, following its tour across the United States and Canada.
Belinda has completed work on the feature film The Man Who Invented Christmas, TV series Little Women for the BBC and Season Six, the final series of Vikings and The Winx Saga for Netflix.
Belinda has completed work on The Last Duel starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jodie Comer and Adam Driver, The Pope’s Exorcist starring Russell Crowe, Irish Wish starring Lindsay Lohan. Belinda was the Dance Casting Director for the UK and Ireland for Disney’s Disenchanted.
Most recently, Belinda has completed work on Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale, and feature film Abigail for Universal Studios.
Belinda choreographed six productions of the original show Menopause The Musical, directing three of them.
She has since been part of the team that created the new show Menopause The Musical 2, and has both directed and choreographed all four subsequent productions in 2020/22/23 and now in 2025.
Robert C Kelly: Producer
Robert has 41 years’ experience as a producer of plays, pantomimes, musicals and concerts. He has presented artistes including Elaine Paige, Jane McDonald, Joe Longthorne, Elkie Brooks and Lena Martell. He has also produced large-scale variety shows with such stars as Brian Conley, Danny La Rue, Bobby Davro, Dean Park, Andy Stewart, Keith Harris and Orville, Gary Wilmot and The Nolans.
Robert’s theatre shows have starred such actors as Bernie, Linda and Maureen Nolan, Beverly Callard (Coronation Street), Blythe Duff (Taggart), Patsy Palmer (EastEnders), Cheryl Fergison (EastEnders) and Jenny Éclair (Grumpy Old Women). He has given first stage acting opportunities to singers including Carol Decker (T’Pau), Maureen Nolan (The Nolans), Lorraine McIntosh (Deacon Blue) and Brianna Corrigan (Beautiful South).
In 2010, with RTÉ Television, Robert co-produced and appeared as head judge in the 10-week RTÉ1 reality television series to find the male and female leads for Fame the Musical, which Robert then toured across Ireland throughout the autumn of that year.
Robert has produced and co-produced many plays and musicals including nine UK and Irish tours of Menopause The Musical, Olivier Award Winning Defending the Caveman, four tours of “The Dolls”, many tours of 51 Shades of Maggie, Whingeing Women, Girls Night the Musical, Dirty Dusting (UK, Ireland Australia and New Zealand), Pam Gem’s Piaf, eleven productions (including a West End run) of the comedy Mum’s the Word, also Mum’s the Word 2 in the UK and Germany, Prunella Scales in Too Far to Walk (London), the musical comedy Always Patsy Cline (UK and Australia), It’s Wine O’Clock across Ireland and many more lost in the mists of time and alcohol.
Across his long career, Robert has produced over 30 pantomimes. Pantomime season 2025/26 will see Robert return to University Concert Hall, Limerick with Cinderella. In 2025 Robert will tour across the UK and Ireland with the hilarious Menopause The Musical 2: Cruising Through Menopause.
Óskar Eiriksson: Producer
Based in Reykjavik Iceland, Óskar Eiriksson, along with partners, started the world-renowned Production Company Theater Mogul in 1999. Since then, they have been mounting, investing, co-producing, and producing successful theatre productions internationally, from the USA to South
America, Europe, Asia, and South Africa.
Their original production was the international and Broadway hit comedy Defending the Caveman. Theater Mogul produces and mounts up to 150 performances each month, playing to packed houses in over 150 cities worldwide. In addition to the hugely successful Caveman, Óskar currently produces the hysterical comedy hit Defending the Cavewoman – the long-running retort to the Caveman. He also produced the hilarious American three-hander Triple Espresso. Óskar has also produced or promoted international hits such as the successful Shaolin Monks, Menopause the Musical, The Blues Brothers, Umoja, Lovelace – A Rock Opera, Sexy Laundry, and 100% Sex Therapy, in Europe, South Africa, and Iceland.
Theater Mogul’s New York debut was Silence! The Musical, a critically acclaimed comedy based on the classic cult movie Silence of the Lambs. Theater Mogul then went on to co-produce the award-winning Broadway musical Groundhog Day which premiered in September 2017. The premiere of Friends! The Musical in 2018, based on the hit television series, marked yet another great success in New York with rave reviews – it has since opened in the UK, Las Vegas, Australia, New Zealand, and Poland, and is set to follow with more productions across the world.
Theater Mogul and Óskar most recently co-produced the full length feature film CAVEMAN with Constantin Films, Germany’s biggest film studio, based on the hit show Defending the Caveman. A documentary about the Caveman adventure and the last ten years of Theater Mogul’s success is also in post-production at Constantin.
With his very personal, creative, and hands-on approach to theatre production, Óskar works with partners and friends worldwide and continues to open Theater Mogul’s current shows in new markets while always keeping his ear to the ground for fresh talent and original productions.
