Irish Tour 2009
A B O U T
Starring Cheryl Baker and Sue Hodge
Armed with a cast of hormonal women, one-liners about memory, and innuendo-laden versions of pop classics, Menopause The Musical embarks on its first ever Irish tour following a 22 week sold-out run of performances at Dublin’s Tivoli Theatre!
Billed as ‘a hilarious celebration of women and “The Change”’, the all-singing, all-dancing comedy brings together four women at a lingerie sale, who have nothing in common but a black lace bra and hot flushes, night sweats, memory loss, chocolate binges, not enough sex, too much sex, plastic surgery and more! Menopause The Musical joyfully and hilariously parodies 25 of the top songs of the ‘60s and ‘70s, including chart-toppers such as “I Heard It Thru the Grapevine“ (“You No Longer See 39“) and “Stayin‘ Alive“ (“Stayin‘ Awake! Stayin‘ Awake!“), to name a few.
Since March 2001, the hilarious Menopause The Musical has entertained and inspired over 9 million women in 100 cities in the USA and across the world.
